Stopped on image. Heated by embers, pieces of oud are consumed. We witness the metamorphosis of’an extraordinary wood that reveals all its depth. Yet it is only a vision. The master perfumer Alberto Morillas chose not to use the natural essence of the famous wood and to evoke instead its olfactory memory. His emotions evoked by the memory of the embers which turn crimson, the fine volutes perfuming the body, the fabrics and the skin.
In this wooded memory, the’Alaska cedar is the undisputed protagonist. Rarely used in perfumery, it gently reveals shades of leather and’encens. Refreshed by coriander and bergamot, it thus burns in contact with the cade wood. Incandescent and radical, it is rounded by the floral notes of rose and’iris. And the volute finally becomes wake.
